Where:           On site (camp venues) or classroom visits

           
When/How:   Aboriginal speakers can visit your group whilst on a trip, or can organise a trip especially catered toward Koori studies.  Alternatively, you may wish to have a koori studies session operate in your classroom.  Topics that can be covered include:

·        Aboriginal culture

·        Aboriginal history

·        Aboriginal cultural speaker

·        Activities such as boomerang throwing, aboriginal art, bush tucker and basket weaving

·        On site visits  (Wilson’s Promontory)

Outdoor Education van be particularly catered to given its focus on people and their relationship with the outdoors.  Information may include;

·        Students to view Power Point Presentation

·        Information given is specific

·        On site visits

·        Practical Activities specifically related to Koori Studies

   

Duration:        Half or full day sessions only
